Majlis ini telah dianjurkan oleh Jabatan Pengajian Umum yang mana dikelolai oleh Ketua Jabatan Pengajian Umum iaitu Puan Masniza.

Majlis ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan penggunaan bahasa inggeris di kalangan pelajar-pelajar Kolej Poly Tech MARA Alor Star.
